At Petit Parfums, we are proud to offer SORA DORA, a perfume brand with a rich history rooted in passion and the beauty of nature.
The story begins with Antoine Soradora, born in 1902 in the picturesque town of Loulé, Portugal. Growing up in a family of farmers, Antoine was surrounded by the natural scents of the countryside—lavender, wildflowers, fresh grass, and the earthy aroma of the land. While his family envisioned him following in their footsteps, Antoine was drawn to the world of fragrances.
At the age of 18, Antoine made the bold decision to leave his homeland and journey to France. He settled in the village of Gréasque, where a welcoming French family gave him a small garden to cultivate. Antoine transformed this space into a vibrant oasis of flowers, fruit trees, and aromatic plants, a testament to his love for nature.
During his time in France, Antoine explored the nearby town of Grasse, the heart of the perfume industry. There, he met Etienne, an experienced jasmine grower. The two men quickly became friends, bonded by their shared passion for plants and fragrances. Together, they began experimenting with perfume creation, blending their knowledge and creativity.
After Etienne’s passing, Antoine continued their work, crafting his first perfume. This marked the beginning of SORA DORA, a brand that would carry his legacy forward. Antoine’s journey wasn’t just about creating scents; it was about capturing the essence of the places he loved and the emotions they stirred within him.
Antoine married Rose, a local woman from Gréasque, and together they had three daughters. He passed down his passion and expertise to them, ensuring that the family tradition of perfumery would continue. Today, SORA DORA is a prestigious perfume brand that has been passed down through four generations. The fragrances in the 2021 collection reflect the power and emotion of Antoine’s journey—from the rolling hills of Portugal to the aromatic gardens of Provence.
At Petit Parfums, we invite you to discover SORA DORA, where each bottle is more than just a scent; it’s a piece of history and a celebration of a dream fulfilled.
